Our process
We use a four-phase approach to develop a solution for you that exactly meets your needs:
- Scope phase: We discuss your overall requirements and business objectives with you to develop a written project scope that describes what the project includes, a general timeline, and a cost estimate.
- Spec phase: We prepare a written specification that describes the project functions and data in detail, provides a firm timeline, and a fixed or not-to-exceed cost quote.
- Development phase: We develop and test the software, data conversion processes, and prepare an installation and training plan.
- Conversion phase: Includes software installation, customer evaluation, parallel testing with existing systems if necessary, final data conversion, user training, and finished documentation.
At the end of Phase 4, you have trained users, converted data, and a tested system that is in production and contributing to your business objectives. We deliver solutions, not problems!
Fees and Payment
Fees may be fixed or not-to-exceed, depending on the project size and complexity. We typically request payment as follows:
- 40% at start of Phase 3 (development)
- 40% at start of Phase 4 (installation, conversion, training)
- 20% at end of Phase 4 (project complete)
